IdealStaffs is looking for a PeopleSoft HCM and Financials, version 9.2. An extensive array of modules are used in both systems, as it serves as the primarily system for Administrative, Human and Financial management. Peoplesoft is integrated with a number of internal systems, including an Oracle Data warehouse used for all corporate reporting, with banking and payment solutions, learning management system, UN security services, UN pension fund and more.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the ICT Solutions Coordinator and working within the ERP Solutions team, the consultant will provide technical support for implementing the PeopleSoft Lease module. The primary areas of focus include:
Lease Management / Administration
Asset Management
General Ledger
Key Responsibilities:
Implement the Peoplesoft lease administration module. It needs to be ensured that the management of leases will be embedded within the existing Peoplesoft finance architecture.
Troubleshoot issues that will be encountered during the UAT of lease administration module related to accounting comborules, journal generation, exchange rate pickup, payment scheduling and calendars, depreciation.
Re-configure the module as necessary to ensure that the module is fit for purpose by the accounts division users.
Prepare technical documentation with instructions for the successful deployment of the module into production.
Refine the functional documentation for the users that is already prepared, to make potential amendments.
Provide support to ICT, accounts and ADM divisions for the successful achievement of the project objectives.
Provide user support for technical issues in PeopleSoft Financials through an internal ticketing system. Tickets must be managed to ensure that users are informed of progress or need for feedback.
Debug issues to identify causes and provide solutions on how to resolve
Develop technical solutions for user issues, including updates to Peoplecode, sql scripts or other scripts to resolve data issues, updates or amendments to workflow.
Resolve performance issues in processes by identifying bottlenecks and developing remediations
Prepare projects and accompanying documentation for the PeopleSoft support team to migrate project to production.
Support the application of patches and testing post application
Comply with requirement procedures and policies, particularly those on security and updates on or migrations to Production systemstion of patches and conduct post-application testing.
Adhere to all policies and procedures, especially those related to security and production system updates or migrations.
Technical Requirements:
Experience in both the functional and technical aspects of implementing the PeopleSoft Lease Management/Administration module is required.
At least 10 years of experience working with the specified PeopleSoft Financials modules.
Advanced expertise in PeopleTools 8.5x and PeopleCode, including application packages.
Strong problem-solving skills for technical issues and experience supporting non-technical users.
Proven ability to develop technical solutions for PeopleSoft Financials modules.
Experience creating complex workflows in approval systems.
Familiarity with designing integration broker messages and component interfaces.
Some experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.x is preferred.
Business Process Knowledge: Familiarity with front-to-back-office workflows in asset management, investment banking, or insurance, and the ability to map business processes to Peoplesoft finance's functionality.
Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyse business needs, and translate them into functional specifications or configuration changes.
System Configuration and Testing: Hands-on experience in configuring Peoplesoft finance to meet business requirements, including performing unit testing, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and resolving functional discrepancies.
Reporting and Documentation: Proficiency in generating reports using Peoplesoft’s reporting tools and preparing comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, test cases, and user guides.
