IdealStaffs is looking for a PeopleSoft HCM and Financials, version 9.2. An extensive array of modules are used in both systems, as it serves as the primarily system for Administrative, Human and Financial management. Peoplesoft is integrated with a number of internal systems, including an Oracle Data warehouse used for all corporate reporting, with banking and payment solutions, learning management system, UN security services, UN pension fund and more.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the general supervision and technical coordination of the ICT Solutions manager or any other ICT officer as designated, and as part of the ERP Solutions team, the consultant will provide technical expertise for user issues and require change requests in PeopleSoft Financials. The work will require:
Technical and functional analysis of the issue – this may require discussions
The following modules will be the primary focus for the work:
1. General Ledger
2. Accounting
3. Balances
Key Responsibilities:
Develop/process the file generation
a. Process the accounting entry file from TMS (Treasury management system) to Peoplesoft financials. (Incoming to Peoplesoft)
b. Generate the reconciliation file from Peoplesoft financials to be interfaced with TMS. (Outgoing from Peoplesoft)
Support the finalization of the format of the files to be loaded to TMS and file to be extracted from Peoplesoft.
Build the logic to pick the files (that comes from TMS) from the designated folders in Peoplesoft financials.
Build the logic to drop the files (that will go to TMS) to the designated folders in Peoplesoft financials.
Support ICC for the SFTP/cronjob testing.
Create application engine to process the content of the accounting file from TMS to load to Peoplesoft GL accounting tables.
Create application engine to extract the trial balance (for reconciliation purpose) and related information to the file to be interfaced with TMS.
Custom page to show this information in Peoplesoft (accounting information).
Execute/provide support for the integration testing and acceptance testing.
Perform fixes of the bugs encountered during the UAT.
Prepare projects and accompanying documentation for the PeopleSoft support team to migrate project to production.
Technical Requirements:
At least 10-year experience of working with the listed modules in PeopleSoft Financials
Highly skilled knowledge of People Tools 8.5x
Highly skilled knowledge of PeopleCode, including application packages and workflow.
Strong demonstrable knowledge of problem-solving technical issues and supporting a non- technical user group.
Strong demonstrable knowledge of developing technical solutions for listed modules in PeopleSoft Financials
Experience of approval workflow – creating new complex workflows
Experience of designing integration broker messages and component interfaces and other integration methods including preferably solution design for integration with Cloud SaaS solutions
Some knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM 9.X
