IdealStaffs is looking for a highly skilled and experienced PeopleSoft Financials Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in updating and maintaining our client's custom engine for calculating voting rights, ensuring it meets new contract requirements and business rules. This position requires a strong background in PeopleSoft development, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills to work effectively with business teams and technical staff.sential.
Technical Context
The client has a custom engine to calculate voting rights and generate a CSV report. The calculation criteria require processing data from both the Contracts module and Accounts Payable (AP). With the introduction of a new contract type and its associated rules, the engine needs to be updated to incorporate these changes.
Duties and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the ICT Solutions Coordinator, ICT, the incumbent will deliver the technical solution promptly. Responsibilities include:
Reviewing business rules provided by the business owner
Reviewing existing code and incorporating changes as per the business rules
Conducting system testing of changes prior to handover to the business owner
Addressing any issues or bugs
Preparing the project for Production deployment
Professional Requirements
Qualification and Experience:
University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline with at least seven years of professional work experience in PeopleSoft development.
Experience in developing customized solutions in PeopleSoft.
Experience in both designing and executing technical solutions from business requirements.
Experience as the lead technical resource on a PeopleSoft project.
Experience working directly with business teams to validate and document technical requirements based on business needs.
Ability to document technical projects.
Technical Requirements:
At least 6 years of demonstrable experience working with PeopleSoft FIN 9.X.
Extensive knowledge of PeopleTools 8.5x, including writing custom application engines and custom PeopleCode.
Expert knowledge of PeopleCode, including application packages.
Experience in designing integration broker messages and component interfaces.
