IdealStaffs is seeking an experienced Oracle DWH, ODI, and OBIEE Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled professional to join our team, specializing in Oracle Data Warehousing, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), and Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE). The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise in developing and maintaining data-driven solutions, supporting seamless integration with enterprise systems, and delivering insightful reports and dashboards.


Position Summary:

Under the guidance of the ICT Solutions Coordinator, ICT team, and project manager, the incumbent will bring technical expertise to support the following responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data requirements, translating business needs into technical specifications and functional documentation to ensure seamless alignment between requirements and implementation.

  • Ensure secure, accurate, and smooth integration of the TMS with existing systems and the UN data warehouse (DWH).

  • Extract data from the legacy TWS system, the new TMS, and other UN financial systems into the DWH.

  • Develop reports and dashboards that address stakeholder needs, especially for the Risk Management Office (RMO), using data from all UN financial systems, including the new TMS.

  • Support the project team in phasing out the legacy TWS system by developing appropriate strategies.

  • Implement data governance practices to ensure security and compliance across systems.

  • Monitor data quality and address inconsistencies within the corporate data warehouse.

  • Advocate for process improvements, streamline data workflows, and promote innovative solutions.

  • Perform unit testing and assist business users during UAT.

  • Align all DB, ODI, and BI catalog objects across all environments.

  • Thoroughly document all development, support, and change requests.

  • Perform any additional duties as required.


Professional Requirements:

  • University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline with at least five years of professional experience working with Oracle Database, ODI, and OBIEE.

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing technical solutions based on business requirements.

  • Strong documentation skills for technical projects.


Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in analyzing, modifying, and creating reports with Oracle Analytics Cloud/Server.

  • Strong knowledge of data warehouse concepts and star schema modeling.

  • Advanced skills in PL/SQL.

  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft tables and Postgres databases is highly advantageous.

  • Experience with Oracle BI Server.


Technology Stack:

  • Databases: Oracle 19c, PostgreSQL.

  • Reporting Tools: Oracle Analytics Server 6.4, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), BI Publisher 12c.

  • Operating Systems: Linux, Windows.

  • Middleware Tools: Oracle Data Integrator 12c, Oracle Golden Gate 12c.

Languages:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
